IUP Eberly College of Business Hall of Distinction inducts four

Gaus Gaus INDIANA, PA —Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology honored four business leaders, including a local woman and a Pittsburgh native, with induction into the College’s Hall of Distinction.

The induction took place during Lt. Col. Charles B. Stevenson Memorial Business Day at IUP.

This year’s inductees were: Jeff Gaus, president, CEO and member of the board of directors of Prolifiq Software, Portland, Oregon; Stephanie L. Perry, principal, Harkness Capital Partners, New York City; Howard Puterman, vice president/general manager of Nevada Enterprise Holdings; and Carol Washington, former chief operating officer at Life’sWork of Western PA .

Gaus received a bachelor science ofdegree in business administration from IUP in 1981, and completed post- graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University’s Graduate School of Industrial Administration.

Perry Perry Perry received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from IUP in 1988 and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. Perry is originally from Altoona and is a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School.

Puterman graduated from IUP in 1986 with a business marketing degree. He began his career at Enterprise Rent- A-Car in south Florida and has worked for Enterprise Holdings for almost 31 years. Currently a resident of Las Vegas, he is a native of Pittsburgh and graduated from Chartiers Valley High School.

Washington graduated from IUP in 1990 with a business management degree. She has more than 22 years of executive leadership experience and extensive background in strategic planning, board- community relations, fundraising, grant writing, donor based and special events planning.
